FT Film | Xlinks Chair highlights Morocco’s renewable energy excellence
“Energy is such an enabler of life itself. It is the foundation of prosperity. In a country like Morocco where you can generate energy competitively in abundance… it’s in fact even more valuable than a resource that you dig out of the ground.”
Those are the words of our Chair, Paddy Padmanathan, who was interviewed by Rachel Millard for a new FT Film on the future of Morocco’s energy landscape.
Paddy spoke on how Morocco is a true leader in the development of large-scale and innovative energy projects, with a highly recognised in-country expertise.
The nation combines exceptional wind and solar resources with political stability, strong infrastructure links to Europe, and the desire to generate renewables for both domestic and export purposes.
